Designed as a direct-fit OE-style replacement, this modulator valve will fit directly into the factory location of your current Cougar or Mustang valve. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs.

Reproductions of the rare mounting kit brackets used to hold the shift indicator assembly to the console. This great little kit replaces stock Ford bushings that can wear out in as quick as one year. This is a very simple repair and upgrade, once you have removed the pedal support from the car. Upon completion of this you will be rewarded with greatly reduced pedal pressure and the knowledge that you will never have to replace these bushings again. Cougar actually used a larger ribbed plate on manual transmission cars without a console but this Mustang part is an inexpensive alternative. The rubber shift boot screws to the transmission tunnel, carpet then goes over it and lastly this retainer slips over the boot and hides the cut edges of your carpet. Used servo cover from a 1967-68 Ford C-4 transmission. This cover has the big A cast into it, which designates it as an "A" servo. Cover only, marked C6AP-7D027-C.
