D0OZ-9652-A Heat shield 'S' tube unique to 1970 351 Cleveland engines 2v or 4v. *Note - Must be used in conjunction with the heat shield part number D0OZ-9A603-F and air cleaner snorkel part number D0OZ-9A626-D.

Grade A exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel. Grade A used will only have minor pitting, it will have no holes or rough rusted edges. We also stock B grade versions for less than half the money.Replaces Ford part number D0OZ-9A603-F.

Every horn is bench tested and inspected for cosmetic defects, if they do not function properly, and pass a visual inspection, they get recycled. Application is for the FE engines 390, 427 428. This assembly is needed for the installation of the cylinder head air supply tubes. Sold as one nut / one ferrule. 8 total needed for smog tube attaching. Originally these were installed in conjunction with a lower tube.

Used 1970-72 black AUTOLITE marked oil fill cap with black plastic elbow. Several variations noted from our collection, AUTOLITE and MOTORCRAFT versions. Will need detailing or fresh black paint applied. Would also suggest replacing the rubber grommet. These 50 year old rubber grommets are rock hard and likely leak air.
