Used on both 351 2V and 4V motors equipped with the C6 transmission. Approximately 26-1/2" with red color code. The comparison picture with two rods side by side are the 71 - 73 FMX and C6 rods. *NOTE* Many assume the C6 was only available with a 351 equipped with a 4V but in fact you could get a C6 with a 351 2V in 1971 - 1973.

This reproduction rod is made from stainless steel and weighs slightly more than the original.

This one year only rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 4V and is approximately 27". This rod originally had a light blue paint daub near the carburetor. It is a little longer than the 2V rod and connects to the carburetor at a slightly higher point.

Used on both 351w 2V and 4V FMX transmissions in 1969. Approximately 17-1/2" long with a black color code paint daub on the end closest to the carburetor. Chrome air cleaner lid removed from a Q code, 351-4V or 351CJ 1972 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, likely Torino and Mercury mid sized cars too. Ford / Mercury have had various part numbers listed for this basic lid over the years. The primary difference was the original lids included an engine size sticker. That is why there are so many listings, the basic part number is 9661. Chrome will be used, and will have some defects to the plating.

This is a good used, grade A deck lock housing with nothing included except the studs. There will be no major blemishes or pitting and the cover stop in the bottom corner is intact. This is an impossible part to have restored and look OEM so finding a really good used one is important for a high quality restoration.
