Used bracket and pulley assembly with new installed bearing for Cougars or Mustangs equipped with the 429CJ engine. This assembly was also equipped on the 1970 - 1971 Torino, Ranchero, and Cyclone with the 429CJ engine. Also many other 429 / 460 engines. Listed in the Ford Master Parts Catalog (MPC) as D0AZ-8678-B.
*Note* All new bearings will have a slight bit of play in them. This is by design, by the manufactures. We have asked the suppliers, and the answer is to allow for possible heat expansion. Even the "Koyo" branded ones, which were used starting in 1968, now have an ever so slight amount of play.
We also offer a bearing replacement service to rebuild your 429CJ fixed idler pulley, see item 27539.
