Original used three piece tack strips for the 1969 - 1970 Cougar convertible. Over-sized, must be shipped via UPS.

This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.

100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes. Once you get this from UPS it will be very evident how it goes back together.

C9ZE-6A360-A Very unique part and a component to the 'drag pack' option on the 428SCJ engines. This is an additional counter weight used on conjunction with the SCJ crankshaft, SCJ crankshaft balancer. Ford part number C9ZZ-6359-A.

C9WY-13776-A-AGRADE Right side courtesy lamp assembly attached to the door panel of all 1969 - 1970 Cougars with either decor or XR7 interiors. Used door window stop, cover plate, for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. These were originally painted body color, and were laid on either inside the front cowl or the package tray for painting. Crankshaft oil slinger for all FE Ford V-8's, starting 1958 until at least through 1976. 1967-69 390 engines, 1968 427-4V engines, 1968-70 428, 428CJ, 428SCJ engines, 1958-66 352, and 1968-76 360 engines. Goes on the crankshaft after the timing gear and before the timing chain cover. Single cylinder head from 1970-71 Mercury Cougar with M code 351C-4V engines. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. These were installed at the factory on 390 / 427 / 428 equipped cars that were exported to countries that did not require the smog system. They are much shorter than the over the Ford counter service plugs you see in the states that are put on after one removes the smog system.

This "D" clip is larger than that found on the Mustangs and 1967 Cougar because it not only hung the wiring loom on the driver side of your engine compartment but also the vacuum lines going to the headlight switch. This clip is also found under the starter solenoid and under dash.

Plastic filler piece that goes over the steering column and bridges the instrument cluster portion of the dash pad. Ford calls this part a "PANEL" (Instrument Panel Cluster) in the Master Parts Catalog. "A" grade used is one without cracks or chips. Put a desired color in the comments section of the online order. This is soft, straight pad with no burns, scrapes or blemishes. This is for the guy that is building a show car and is striving for perfection and wants to do nothing but freshen it up with a coat of SEM Flexible Coating. Often, we will not be able to provide this pad, and almost never will we be able to provide it in some of the more obscure colors, but please do ask prior to purchasing as to what colors we have on hand if it is important that you get the correct color.

Good used driver quality dash that has no cracks, serious warping or obvious blemishes. These used dash pads are still pliable but will need paint to look fresh, we recommend SEM flexible coating, Landau black. To check colors on hand you may want to call before you order or at least mention the desired color in the comments section of your online order. The pictures shown are not the actual pad you will receive, rather a representation of what you can expect for quality.

From the view as seen when sitting inside the car this pad might look decent but when you look at the top side it have cracks, especially at the defroster vents, small blisters and the pad will feel hard on top. This pad will not look perfect even after it has been painted with two coats of SEM vinyl paint as shown here. This pad is not intended for a restored car but is more of a "better than nothing" option. Pictures shown are samples only, not the actual pad you will receive.
