Single cylinder head from 1968-70 Mercury Cougar with 428CJ engine with smog holes. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. Typically this cylinder head has 2.09 and 1.65 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 73-76cc's. With stock pistons, these heads will net an approximate compression ration of 10.6:1.
Basic cylinder head number is 6090. These are the Cobra Jet exhaust manifolds with 16 drilled and tapped exhaust bolt holes. We won't have these in stock very often, but when we do, we will list the casting date numbers.
