Our 8000 tachometer has proved to be a very popular upgrade for those who have a 1969-1970 standard or decor interior. Of course, if you put a tachometer in the instrument cluster slot intended for a clock, where does one mount the clock? We now have this kit that includes a CNC precision cut straight grain panel, an under lying bezel cut from a xr7 panel and a xr7 / Eliminator clock housing and mounting bracket with hardware. This kit will allow you to mount the standard clock that normally mounts in the gauge cluster. Pictured is the standard clock with a xr7 clock housing. You must use the xr7 housing as it has different mounting tab locations than the standard clock. The wiring harness is the same standard vs. XR7 so no modification needed there. Keep in mind the panel we send you will have no emblem or a poor quality emblem in place. We intend for you to remove the emblem from your dash or we do have NOS and good used emblems in stock.
Keep in mind that we will give up to $100 credit for your original uncut bezels.
