Very nice reproduction, silver zinc finish like original. Correct texture and even an original type date stamped on the head. Comes complete with striker plate, shim, and screws. The only difference between the 67 Cougar and the 68 - 70 is that the 67 came with the 8-66 date stamp, the rest came with the 11-67 date stamp. This shim, also referenced to as washers, goes in the clutch portion of the drive gearbox to properly adjust the friction. Three shims (plus a hand crank) were originally supplied with sunroof cars.

Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit.
