This is the dual port version used on UNITS BUILT PRIOR TO MAY 17, 1967. There was also a single port version in the later part of 1967. These dual port units always leak at the port fitting (easily sealed with epoxy) and the one way check valve never functions properly. Our Western grade A tanks are rust free. Keep in mind we have units that are not as clean looking but still hold vacuum for about half the price. Ford part #C7WY-13A185-C.

Unlike the 1968 Cougar headlight switch, the 1967 and 1971-73 version does not have the three vacuum ports connected to it. Don't be fooled . . . This one in, one out design was unique to the early 1967 Cougar for the headlights. Also found on vacuum controlled options like the 1967 Mustang Cougar tilt / tilt-away steering column. This is a good used unit that has been tested and found to hold vacuum well. This valve is located a few inches behind the carburetor.

This clip looks just like the larger quarter extension moulding / trim moulding clip, but is smaller (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (smaller end) of the moulding / trim to the extension. This unit is also almost exactly the same as the rear deck / trunk lid moulding / trim clip, but this quarter extension clip has a slightly shorter stud. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing....
