Used cigar / cigarette lighter and ashtray mounting bracket. Mounts behind the dash on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Holds the cigar or cigarette lighter element, and the ashtray receptacle. 

These courtesy light brackets are located on the very outer right and left under the dash. Typically this bracket is found on the passenger side of 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang without air conditioning. This is the long style bracket. There is also a short style for both the driver and passenger side courtesy light. This cast bracket bolts to the frame on the driver side and anchors the power steering hydraulic cylinder.
