Ford calls this part a 'mask'. This clamps to the chromed lever and holds the socket and bulb that are attached to the neutral safety switch, which are the shifter indicator light for the floor shifter. This little switch is mounted on the back side of your interior temperature control panel on most 1969-72 Ford products. It energizes the A/C pump when you move the the knob to the "A/C" position. 15 AMP micro switch. Starting sometime in 1972, this switch was incorporated with the vacuum selector manifold. This is part of the switch assembly C9ZZ-19B888-A.Tested and guaranteed to work, originally produced by Cherry Electrical Corp.
