This rod is correct for the 428 CJ / SCJ with a C6 and is approximately 28".

Exact reproduction of this one year only rod is correct for the 351 Cleveland 4V and is approximately 27". This rod originally had a light blue paint daub near the carburetor. It is a little longer than the 2V rod and connects to the carburetor at a slightly higher point. This reproduction rod is made from stainless steel and weighs slightly more than the original. Replaces Ford Part #: D0OZ-7A187-C

This is the factory Ford remote trunk latch as used on luxury cars such as Thunderbird or Lincoln. As you can see from the photo, they are made (and install) exactly like our Cougar trunk latches, but with the addition of a release tab.
