This dealer option was installed for people who were not comfortable with the height of their seats. This same kit was used on many intermediate Ford Products from 1965-1970. One kit does one bucket seat or one bench seat. Ford part # C6OZ-6362016-A. Click on images to enlarge. The screw on clips were included in the kit so the spacer would stay in place as the seat was guided into the four holes in the seat riser. These hinge covers are exact copies of the originals. These are neutral in color so you can paint them to match your interior color.

A very common breaking point on the upper portion of the driver side inner, can now be easily repaired. If you have a '68 or '69 Cougar or Mustang, check the driver seat back attachment for the recall / campaign fix. There should be a heavy bracket secured by a bolt over the seat back attachment. There is a heavy pin on this bracket that forms the pivot for the seat back when positioned forward. This bracket carries a D7AA-69618C46-A or D7ZZ-69618C46-A service replacement part number. The knobs for the seat track release to adjust the position of the seat. The reproduction has a slightly deeper divot where you place your finger, and is slightly more round on the bottom, but a very nice reproduction. Replaces Ford Part #: C5AZ-6261753-BA.
