390 engine call out decal for the air cleaner lid. For all S code 390-4V engines in 1967 Cougar or Mustang. We have tried using this decal on a 1967 air cleaner lid and it is too large. Plan on rolling the edges. The shape of this decal is better suited to the 1968-69 Ford air cleaner lids. Replaces Ford Part number C5AF-9638-D

Reproduction 351 4V AT / MT Emission Decal for 1969 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Controversy abounds on which shrouds received these and which did not. It is our understanding that no early Cougars came from the factory with this decal installed. This decal first surfaced when Ford had major problems with their flex fans in the early 1970's. We will let you decide if it is correct for your application... This is placed on the top, center of the fan shroud.

Reproduction Detroit Locker Glove Box Decal for the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mercury Cougar

This is the decal I see on many 1967 Cougars but not 1968. For some reason the majority of 1967 Cougars are missing the decal altogether (unlike 1968 - 1973). My guess is that maybe the adhesive was not as good. I like this decal as it actually shows a Cougar instead of Mustang.

Replaces Ford Part #: C8WB-17093-E. Notice this shows a crude line drawing of a Mustang but in fact carries a Cougar part number. This is the decal seen on most 1968 Cougars but many have a 1967 Mustang part number.

Tips for installation: Decal should be trimmed to resemble the original decal. This one is comes as a full rectangle and the original was trimmed around the edges w/ very little clear border left.This decal is a very "touchy" decal, any air bubbles WILL leave the adhesive white where the bubble was even if you get it smoothed/pushed out so you must put the decal down avoiding ANY air bubbles by laying one edge first and rubbing as you go along. Replaces Ford part #C8AZ-6223362-A. Sold in pairs, four required per car, used on most Ford products. We often get calls like "How do I remove my front window cranks?" Unlike the rear cranks that are held on by an Allen set screw, the fronts have a Phillips screw under this decal. If you are careful, often you can reuse your original and glue it back in place.
