1973 Ford Mustang

Electrical junction block for use on 1971-73 XR7 models or 1971-73 Ford Mustang with options such as convertible, power seat, power windows, or rear defog. This combination insulator / junction block is for securing a circuit breaker, and mounts near the starter solenoid. Made from black Bake-O-Lite, Grade B, these will have some chipping or cracking present. Replaces Ford part number D0SB-14448-A or D0SZ-14448-A.

Used on both 351 2V and 4V motors equipped with the C6 transmission. Approximately 26-1/2" with red color code. The comparison picture with two rods side by side are the 71 - 73 FMX and C6 rods. *NOTE* Many assume the C6 was only available with a 351 equipped with a 4V but in fact you could get a C6 with a 351 2V in 1971 - 1973.

This rod was used on all Cougars 1971 - 1973 equipped with a 351 and FMX transmission both 4V and 2V. Approximately 27" Black color code.

Used driver side interior kick panel for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. Ford calls this item a "Panel - Cowl Trim". These came in a variety of different colors, please indicate a desired color in the notes. Plan on painting the panel with a quality vinyl paint such as those made by SEM for a quality installation. 1971 - 1973 Cougar wiper control switch knob. In early (May 3, 1971) Mercury changed the knob. This is the later knob. Hex shaped knob, good used, may show some minor wear.

These heater control knobs are sold in a set of three and fit good and tight. It is often little details like this that separate 1st and 2nd place when judged at car shows. Replaces Ford Part #: C9ZZ-18519-A.

During installation, check for proper alignment with trunk latch. Trunk latch and striker should engage smoothly, both items are adjustable. We only save the rust free latches with no wear or rust, the rest are tossed. Fits 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Ford part number D1AZ-6543252-A.
