This is a very rare find. "Grade A" 1969 XR7 / Shelby only, crack free original lid. Grade A will exhibit minimal loss of texture and will still be pliable. Notice how the three humps stand taller and rounder than the reproduction. Limited colors on hand, please let us know which color you desire and we will try to accommodate. Pictured pad is for reference only. The 1970 version was a soft spongy material.

The automatic seat back release option was added in early 1970 for Cougar and Mustang. The automatic seat back release would pull the release lever on both of the bucket seats. This only happens when the either the driver or passenger side door is opened. Kit comes with the 1970 specific wiring harnesses from the solenoid, includes 3 pin switch for the passenger pillar post, relay, solenoids, and cross over wiring. Each of these great kits include all three required cables, including part numbers, proper terminal and post clamp ends. Starter cables are properly shielded from heat. 1970-71 Mercury Cougar with 65-75 AMP alternators and V-8 engines. The originals were either 43-55 Amp (Standard) Draw or 65-75 Amp (High) Draw. This used grade "A" bezel for the driver side master switch was used in the latter part of 1970 through the 1972 model year. These do not "pry" off rather they are removed by slipping a small screw driver between the bezel and door panel and depressing the clip tab so as to release it from the master switch housing. We do not have any at this time . . . Very rare part in great condition. This was pulled from a very original 1970 H code XR7 with power windows, tilt column and AC. Technically not correct for 69 in that the shade of green would be darker in 1969. Why this car did not have the xr7 woodgrain delete plate we are unsure.

Reproduction pair of black seat belt buckle bezels for the Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, or Ford Torino. It is little details like these that often make the difference between first and second place at the show.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

These are about half the weight of originals and do not look correct in any way. They are far better than nothing.
