Many of our customers have asked and requested how we clean and detail our parts. We use a combination of items, mostly fine steel wool and elbow grease. Cleans haze, crud, and years of oxidation and water spots from glass, aluminum, chrome, and rubber. 16 individual pads in a package.

This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. Used  Grade A driver side support / grille center for the 1969 Mercury Cougar

Used upper support bracket for the hood latch on any 1969 Mercury Cougar. Ford part number C9WY-16707-A.

Used upper support bracket for the hood latch on any 1970 Mercury Cougar. This 1970 part will work on a 1969. The only difference is the top corner is clipped at an angle on the 1970.Ford part number D0WY-16707-A.

Used headlight switch for the Mercury Cougar. This original FoMoCo unit was tested and will hold 13 pounds of vacuum. The spacer (which is specific to 1969) is not included with this unit, but you can get it right here. Ford part # C9WB-11652-B.

Quality "STANDARD" brand reproduction switch for your vacuum actuated hideaway headlights. This switch fits multiple years and makes which means multiple dash configurations. You will need to "break off" your unique extension and attach it to this unit. The extension (spacer) can be removed easily by placing your old switch in a vise and using a wedge shaped chisel to break the tiny spot welds. This is the correct size walking cat decal for your eyelid door on the 1967 - 1969 Cougar. It has the studs in the exact place as the originals. You will need this emblem when changing out our 1967 - 1969 background decals as you will have to break the original studs to remove the cat. Also great for those custom applications! Headlamp center shaft actuator rod clips. Sold individually, two clips needed, one on each side of the shaft. Not really needed, probably kept the shaft ends from moving during installation. We have found two different sizes of these clips. No pattern between 1969 and 1970.

Ford part number C9WY-6510198-A. This is the metal rocker moulding clip that attaches the front and rear of the mouldings to the car in 1969 (except the Sport Special which only has them on the rear). In 1970 a Phillips screw held the rear end of the rocker moulding to the quarter panel on each side so just the fronts of the mouldings used these clips in 1970.
