Used door window stop, cover plate, for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. These were originally painted body color, and were laid on either inside the front cowl or the package tray for painting. Nice reproduction that is "almost" spot on. Of the two versions available this one has much more definition. When you put an original next to this reproduction you will notice the original has a more raised, defined face on the Mercury Man.

To install, you'll have to peel off the backing, apply the decal to the intended clean surface, press in place with a plastic squeegee or credit card, then carefully peel away the top contact paper.

This decal was used on the Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1968 and both the XR7 and Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1967. Will require slight trimming for perfect fit. Rare, almost impossible to come by collectors item designed to adhere to the inside of your window. Original water transfer 3" diameter Cougar logo decal. Soak in water for 30 seconds and slide onto glass. I have only seen these dealer "give aways" one other time in all my years of collecting. Used diffuser for the shift indicator lamp. This diffuser is used on the Cougar or Mustang WITHOUT a console and attaches to the end of the light socket on your shift indicator wire harness. Both shift indicator lamps with or without a console used the same wire harness and socket, but used different diffusers. Used door courtesy light lens on the 67 - 70 Cougar. Because of the heat and placement of the bulb behind this lens, they were prone to burning or in some cases melting. This lens is easily replaceable by removing the two screws holding the housing together and grinding off the studs holding the lens and reflector in place.
