This is the correct battery hold down clamp for the 1971, 1972 or 1973 Mercury Cougar & Ford Mustang. Ford Part #: D0OZ-10718-B. Note: The battery hold down clamp offered by many Mustang / Cougar vendors as "Concours Correct" is actually for the 1974 - 1978 Cougar /  Mustang.

Used front fender extension moulding / trim clip for the Mercury Cougar. This is the largest of the three clips required to attach the aluminum 1969 fender moulding / trim to the extension. One is used on each side at the tail (larger part) of the trim piece. This unit is for the purest. If originality is not as important to you, you can get the inexpensive reproduction here.

The majority of the rocker moulding end clips we get look like this unit in that the stud is broken or the wire tensioner has been broken off. Putting a new stud in one of these clips is not a hard job. Sold Individually.

These retainer clips work for both the windshield and rear window stainless steel mouldings. These are often times rusty so when you are replacing your seal or trim be prepared to replace a few if not all of them. See chart below to determine how many you need for your application. Known to have been used on 1969-1970 air conditioning boxes to hold a vacuum hose to the actuator.  They can be screwed or bolted to the plenum.   Used plastic clip for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.

These same clips are also found on the four rocker switches located in the center of the 1969-1970 XR7 dash pad. Do not bend the "J" shaped tab any further than is necessary to release the plug from the back of the switch as these break easily. There are 16 of these used on a Cougar with power windows in 1969, add the 8 in the dash of the XR7 Cougars and some cars have a total of 24.Replaces Ford part number C9AZ-14530.

This item holds the release bale to the upper knuckle. Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. Mounts under one of the top bolts where the bell housing connects to the engine block. This is not a reproduced part, that we know of.  The basic Ford part number is 7C072.

Clips that attach to the dash for mounting the defrost nozzles. Package of 4 clips and 4 nuts, enough for non air conditioned cars, same clips used for air conditioned cars. Reproduction metal rear deck / trunk lid moulding / trim clip for the Mercury Cougar. This clip comes with a correct looking nut and works with the 1967-68 aluminum trim and the 1969-70 stainless steel trim. This unit measures about 1-7/8" long with a stud height of about 3/4". 7 clips needed per trunk lid. Note that this clip features a stud that is a little longer than what was factory. Reproduction aluminum shift indicator console overlay for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is the grade “B” driver side (left hand) front bumper corner filer and is what we find on the majority of our parts cars. These used hard rubber parts will have some sort of blemish in that they may be slightly warped, chipped or have a visible scratch. Steel wool is a good way to clean them up and boiling them in water before install can often times make them appear less warped.
