I installed this on a 1970 Cat 351 H code with a 3 speed. Fits right up so no issue there. The original rod from my car had no bushings. The metal on metal over the years wore the rod down to the point of failure when it fell out from the pedal while driving. This new one paired with some new bushings gave the clutch pedal an awesome feel with the correct amount of travel.
