    Very correct looking reproduction used only on the 1968 XR7 Mercury Cougar. This decal may need slight trimming to fit perfectly into the recessed portion of your lock cover.

    Good looking part - but just a little too big to fit into an original lock cover plate. Use 220 grit sand paper to sand the edge down slightly for a better fit.

    Looks really good but as others have said you need to do some minor work to get it to fit. I used a file on the top and bottom edges to get it to fit in the cover plate. The top corners aren't perfect but I doubt anyone would notice that.

    This will really make your cover plate "POP" like new again. Will require slight trimming or shaving down to fit perfect but well worth it considering the cost of a NOS plate.
