Tested and inspected neutral safety switch for the C-6 transmission installed in 1970 - early1972 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Found on cars before build date 12/1/1971.Look for a transmission code of U on your door data plate. If your car has a code X, your original transmission was an FMX and uses a different neutral safety switch.Replaces Ford Part #: D1ZP-7A247-AA, or D0ZZ-7A247-B, SW 920.
