Designed as a direct-fit OE-style replacement, this modulator valve will fit directly into the factory location of your current Cougar or Mustang valve. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs.

We suggest using white lithium grease or petroleum jelly to ensure the seal will not stick to the shift lever.
