This is the exact same cut of sound deadener as the tar based sound deadener, but cut out of the foil heat shield rather than the paper backed tar. This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. One per side, 1968 does not use the triangle markings. The letter "D" stamping was in place to aid line workers with correct placement on the car.

This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. Fits 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and 1965-73 Ford Mustang. Technically this spring fits all Ford and Mercury floor shifters 1965-73. Ford part number C5ZZ-7C300-A. The MPC shows this spring to have a free length of 2-1/16 inches.

Good used grade "A" core plastic passenger side bezel that may have had one or more very minor cracks repaired. One or more studs on the back may have been repaired as well. Nice quality, NOS, not polished lenses. Fits 1969-70 Mercury Cougar Standard, body style 65A, 65C, and 76A.
