Reproduction of the 1969-70 Mercury Cougar XR7 door panel door grab handle or door pull ends and caps. Also found on 1969-70 full sized Mercury cars and 1968-70 Lincoln Continental MK III. Chromed end originally had a Mercury part number of C9MB-5422668-A, and the flat covers had a part number of C8MB-5422678-A. Nice reproduction of the covers, although we feel that they are a tad too shiney. Sold in a set of 8 pieces, enough for two door pulls.

If you have a 67 the woodgrain decals are the correct size, the 68 uses a little different design with a black border which is not available new. The woodgrain is not correct for either 67 or 68. We would highly recommend getting our burl wood applique, it is still not correct, but is much closer and nicer than the woodgrain this comes with. Used chrome end for the grab handle found on Mercury Cougar XR7 and several other Lincolns like the Continental MK III. Seldom will these be perfect, most have some pitting on the top sides. *NOTE - These knobs are NOT in the original Ford packaging, they were bought in bulk from a supplier who did not provide packaging. This style of knob was used on almost all Ford products starting in 1968 and continuing on through the late 1970's. The latest renditions in reproduction form are actually pretty good but for the purist these make a nice touch. 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang door lock rod. This is the short rod that goes between the door key lock and the latch mechanism. Same part right or left, just under 6 inches in length, no threads on this rod. Ford part number C9ZZ-6522134-A.

Steel plate for mounting the door pull or grab handle on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar XR7. Right and left is dependent upon which way the nylon inserts are installed. Comes complete as shown with nylon inserts for attaching the door pulls. The screws with 1/2 inch flat head for mounting this plate to the doors are also a available (three required).

Interior door panel grab handle or door pull. These are B grade handles. These will have damaged threaded inserts and will not be suitable for use to close your doors. These can be modified by drilling through the handle and installing a small acorn nut. Used end cap with the burl woodgrain for the deluxe door pull straps found in the Mercury Cougar XR7 or Ford Mustang. These units will show a degree of pitting, fine scratches and fading. Also, these door pull strap caps are unique to 1968 and they are not currently being reproduced. 1967 has no border and the woodgrain has a different color and look to it.
