This panel was used in most of 1972 and all of the 1973 model year and is used in conjunction with cars equipped with rear seat seat belt re-tractors. It will not show serious UV damage with the "chalky look" and will have no extra holes drilled. This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors.
