These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. For you 71-73 owners with warped panels you will want to use these original clips (at least along the bottom edge) for a tighter hold. Reproduction vinyl top moulding clip for all factory installed 1971-73 Mercury Cougars and should also work on the 1971-73 Ford Mustangs. These are like the ones that attach under the nail heads.
