Convertible

This is the storage bag that the convertible top cover folds into when the top is in the down position. Ford calls this part the "Folding top dust hood container." It is made from common vinyl top material and is always black. It measures 15"x27" and the bottom portion is sometimes, tapered down to 8". Reproduction front tack strip for the front bow of the convertible top on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang convertible. When replacing your convertible top, it's also a good idea to replace the tack strips in the front and rear bows of the convertible top frame. This strip slips into the front bow of the convertible top's frame and allows the fabric of the top to be attached to the frame.
