Nice pliable original seal that measures 3 5/8" tall, no burns, rips or cuts. Will trade straight across for 68-70 428 Cougar ram air seal which is only 2 1/4" in height. Ram Airs seals are designed to stretch over air cleaner bases that are approximately 14 3/8" wide at their outer most upper lip.

Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve). Used FoMoCo aluminum intake manifold for Ford FE engines. The single plane carburetor mounting bases, indicate that this was designed for Ford Thunderbird with 390 engines. Stepped bases were for Ford Galaxie. FoMoCo marked, with a 1D20 casting date i.e. April 20, 1961.
