Used bolt and washer for attaching the crankshaft balancer or damper to the crank shaft. 15/16 inch hex head with 5/8-18 threads and 1.75 inches long. Basically fits all Mercury Cougar engines except the 1971 429 Cobra Jets engines. Fits 1967-73 289, 302, Boss 302, 351W, 351C, 390, 427, and 428CJ engines.Torque specifications for this bolt are 70-90 foot pounds.*Note does not fit 429 or 460 V8 engines or any 6 cylinder engines.

Gear Selector Plate for the T-Bird steering column shift machanism. 

Ford calls this part a 'mask'. This clamps to the chromed lever and holds the socket and bulb that are attached to the neutral safety switch, which are the shifter indicator light for the floor shifter. Very hard to find 69 - 70 Shelby / 67 - 69 Cougar 4 speed shifter knob. Almost a year in development was spent to get as close as possible to original N.O.S. sample. These very rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they are expensive. Knob insert is made of metal just like original not brass. Measures 3/4" tall with a captured lock washer. These were removed from 1969 and 1970 428 Cobra Jet Fans. More research is needed before we can conclusively post the interchange and application details on these bolts. Would love to hear what you have found on your original Cougars equipped with a fan clutch.

This adhesive plaque was placed in front of the shifter on XR7-G models with a factory installed four speed manual transmission. The XR7-G shift knob had a walking Cat on the face of the knob instead of a shift pattern.

Tall style filter for C4 transmissions.  Fits all Ford C4 transmissions for any 1966-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with that W code C-4 transmission. This is designated as the 'tall' filter, introduced in 1965. I guess that Ford installed a deeper pan in 1965? Solid metal construction with filter inside.

New manufactured flywheel for manual transmissions. Fits all 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 289 engines with 3 or 4 speed manual transmissions. This flywheel has a 157 tooth ring gear. This flywheel will fit many other Ford small block V-8's with the 157 tooth gear.*Note - Most 1968 and newer Cougars came with 164 tooth flywheels, and they are not compatible.
