This is a reproduction of the original chrome engine displacement decal with black lettering and stripes that was located on the top of the air cleaner.Fits a 1967 Mercury Comet GT with a 390 4 barrel engine.This decal is for the 1967 Mercury Comet 390 4V GT Air Cleaner. It can be used on the Cougar but as far as we can tell the 67 390 GT Mercury Cougar did not have an air cleaner decal.

New "Mercury" script decal in black for any Mercury, but will be at home on the Cougar. Measures 10 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" tall.This is a die-cut vinyl decal. To install, you'll have to peel off the backing, apply the decal to the intended clean surface, press in place with a plastic squeegee or credit card, then carefully peel away the top contact paper.

This emblem was used on the driver side of the 1971 - 1972 Cougar hood and on the passenger side of the trunk lid in 1967 - 1968. Also used on various other Mercury products like the Comet, Cyclone, and Marquis prior to 1973. This will not fit on the fender extension of the 1967- 1968 Cougar. Fantastic quality part... This adhesive plaque was placed in front of the shifter on XR7-G models with a factory installed four speed manual transmission. The XR7-G shift knob had a walking Cat on the face of the knob instead of a shift pattern.
