This is the original JB Weld. We decided to bring this stuff in as a convenience to you, our customers. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can have it at your door in a few days (more or less, depending on your location). Good for all sorts of projects around the house or garage.

Used grade "B" rear courtesy / opera light lens for the Mercury Cougar. Opera lights were came as standard equipment on all XR7 Cougars, but were installed on many decor and standard level Cougar interiors. These units will have a few "warts" which show up as pitting in the chrome and may also have some minor cracking in the lens. If you just need a lens for your driver quality car, these are a great option. But if you compare this grade "B" lens to our reproductions, it will look like...

D2AZ-14A163-K Black plastic ring that barely fits over the PCV hose. Ring end locks into the D1AZ-6788-A hose bracket. Fits all 1972-73 351 engines, both 2V and 4V engines. This retaining ring came from Ford's electrical section.

Reproduction hold down clamp rivet for the 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang. This rivet holds the clip / clamp onto the distributor. Sold individually, 2 per car.

Concours? almost, these are stainless steel screws with the wax tipped coating like the originals, for installing the door sill plates. The wax was deemed necessary by the Ford Motor Co. as a seal. Sold individually, original glove box cable screw with shoulder. For any 1967-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Probably many other Ford and Mercury cars also.Ford part number 379202-S2.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Set of 11 screws for fastening the taillight bezel to the taillight housing on the 69 - 70 Cougar. This set is enough to do one bezel.If you bought the reproduction 69 or 70 taillight bezels, remember that they don't come with screws.Earlier year taillight bezels used mounting studs, but the 69 - 70 bezels screwed in from the housing to the bezel. This is a common panhead screw that can be found at your local hardware store brand new.

Replacement seal with boot for all 1969-73 FMX and 1967-73 C6 transmissions. Tail shaft and slip yoke seal.

D1DZ-6561883-A Spring that keeps tension on the adjusting seat track latch, it keeps it locked. 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang Bucket Seats. We think that this later spring for the 1972 and up seats was a service replacement part.

Installs between seat track and carpet. These are the same gauge steel as originals. Four per bucket seat, normally only seen on the 1967 model year, will need to be restored. Reproductions work fine, but look a little different. Ford Part # C5ZZ-13190-K

This plastic fastener is used to keep your mirror cable from interfering with the movement of your door glass. It is located at the front of the door near the top.

This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Sold individually, 8 total needed for smog installation. Application is 1967 - 1970 390, 427. 428CJ engines. In 1975 Ford started making these out of stainless steel. This reproduction cigar / cigarette lighter socket is a good fit and is easy to install. This lighter socket also comes with the retainer. Replaces Ford part # C6ZZ-15055-B.

Used angled chrome spacer for any 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Good used part with very good chrome plating, usually one of the small locating tabs will be broken off of the back. Still a great value compared to the reproduction, and installs fine without the one tab on the back. Replaces Ford part number C9ZZ-11574-A.

Used spacer for the lower windshield moulding

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

Spindle nut kit for the 67 - 69 Cougar or Mustang. This 3/4-16 threaded nut fits most of the 1967-69 brake spindles. The exception would be some of the Boss 302 and some 428CJ equipped cars. Included are nut, cap, washer and cotter pin.

This is the spring that returns the actuator from the start position.

This screw / stud seems to always be missing. This stud is just a little longer than stock to allow installing the Hi-Po / 427 GTE air cleaner. Fit most Autolite 4V carburetors assembly. Zinc plated for years of service. Size: 4 1/2 inches 1/4-20 X 1/4-20 threads.

The Wittek Company manufactured the tower clamps used on the Cougar from 1967 to 1973, the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. This has made the tower clamp unavailable to the classic car restorer. Our supplier was able to bid at the auction for enough of the original tooling and parts to make these clamps available again. Other companies have also reproduced these clamps, but...
