This never came on a Cougar, but it is a nice upgrade from the string that attaches your seat belt shoulder strap to the coat hanger when the shoulder strap is not in use. These are the caps placed on the inside of the rear marker reflectors to protect your trunk's contents from damage. These Reproductions are grey. This grade "B" light bezel will have minor blemishes in the chrome as shown. Good part for a driver as it will not have deep pits. Does not include pigtail or lens. Left is the same as right. To remove pigtail from your existing light wrap socket in cloth to protect and grip firmly with a pair of pliers, rock back and forth while pulling and the plug and socket assembly should come right out from the back side. Replaces Ford part # C8WY-15A201-C.

Ford never offered this socket / plug assembly on its own but we do from time to time get one that has a clean socket and no cuts in the wiring. You can often just twist and pull (after the bulb has been removed) and it will come right out of the chrome housing. The Ford engineering number imprinted on the wire is C8WB-15A442-A.

Unfortunately the wand is broken off from this grade "B" driver side (left hand) mirror. It will require drilling out the old one and epoxy gluing in another or removing the complete controller from another 1970's like mirror. Chrome is dull and often will have light pitting.
