1970 Mercury Cougar

This black wire attaches to the fusible link. The Fusible link connects to the starter solenoid with an eyelet connector, then connects to this wire with a billet connector. This wire then passes through the firewall to mate with the power top switch wiring under the dash. We believe that some 1969 harnesses may have used a fusible link wiring harness in place of this one. This is a good used power wire that passes through the firewall, travels along the passenger side engine compartment and mates the the rectangular power window relay. Fits 1969-70 Mercury Cougars with factory power windows. This is a Grade B harness that has been tested, inspected and repaired as needed. This harness will function properly, but will have some obvious repairs. We also sell a Grade A harness that will look much better for judging.
