Most Cougars were equipped with decore or XR7 interiors which used a two spoke wheel with woodgrained rim in 1968 and an all together different three spoke Rim Blow wheel in 1969. If you have a deluxe woodgrained wheel in your 1968 decore or xr7 equipped Cougar this solid colored wheel will accept your existing horn ring and pad.

Please email us for color on hand, rarely do we have more than one grade A in stock. Grade A will have almost no warping or lifting issues, soft and pliable and will not need repaint. Very hard to find, one year only part.

Good used pad available in most colors, please let us know which color you need in the comments section and we will try to accommodate. Grade B pads will be lifting at the top, be a little warped and have some missing texture where your thumbs often ride at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a much better value than the Chinese rods we sell. This listing is for the driver side only. Compared to what you will find in most regions of the country these would be considered to be very clean in terms of rust damage.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.

Reproduction 8-32 x 1/2" stud used to attach the convertible boot mouldings on any 69-73 Cougar or 65-73 Mustang. A number of these studs were installed on the mouldings, going through the body of the car and attached underneath the sheet metal using the boot nuts.
