Single cylinder head from either a 1968 X code 390-2V or 1969 Mercury Cougar with 390-4V or 390-IP engine. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. Typically this cylinder head has 2.02 and 1.55 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 71-74cc's. With stock pistons, these heads will net an approximate compression ration of 10.5:1 (9.5:1 with X code). Basic cylinder head number is 6090. This is a GT cylinder head with 14 drilled and tapped exhaust bolt holes....

This "D" clip is larger than that found on the Mustangs and 1967 Cougar because it not only hung the wiring loom on the driver side of your engine compartment but also the vacuum lines going to the headlight switch. This clip is also found under the starter solenoid and under dash. We think that it is Ford part number 382184.

Used highly collectible Dan Gurney slot car racing track made by the Republic Tool and Manufacturing Corporation in Los Angeles California. Open box and lightly used. Both cars are intact, and the decals have been placed on the the vehicles and the track. Everything is good condition, but the cars have not been tested and the red car has had it's wheels painted. This actually is a pretty impressive part once installed if your expectations are not overly high. It fits snug (very tight) over your existing cracked dash and you affix it by putting silicone around the perimeter. Once in place the obvious indicators of it not being original are the lack of simulated stitching on the leading edge and the larger perforations for the center speaker. Reproduction 390 4V GT Emission Decal for the 1968 and 1969 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Controversy abounds on which shrouds received these and which did not. It is our understanding that no early Cougars came from the factory with this decal installed. This decal first surfaced when Ford had major problems with their flex fans in the early 1970's. We will let you decide if it is correct for your application...
