Reproduction manual choke cable and knob. This one closely resembles the factory manual choke as found on all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar Eliminators with the G code Boss 302 engine and the 1969-70 Ford Boss 302 Mustang. Additionally this style choke was used on all 1970 428 Cobra Jet engines. See the experts for dash mounting locations.

Used with factory "Autolite" carburetor and aluminum carburetor spacer unique to the 1969 Cougar. Bracket that mounts to the rear Carburetor mounting holes of all 1969 390-4V. Nice reproduction of the Boss 302 throttle bracket as found on the G code Boss2 cars. Includes 1969-70 Cougar Eliminator and Mustang. Similar to the 428 Cobra Jet bracket but with an extended spring tab.

This specialty screw attaches the gas pedal to the throttle linkage. Fun fact: the head looks like Phillips (and that works fine) but this is actually designed for a Pozi bit.

This is a very specialized screw that you do not want to fail or make do with an incorrect fitting or stripped screw. When removing your old screw you will most likely have to pull your pedal assembly and have a perfect fitting screw driver to remove the screw as the factory put them in very tight!

Ford part #: C9ZZ-9A758-A. All V-8 engines. The plastic portion that is designed to cover the cable at its furthest point by the carburetor will be broken. This is how the vast majority are for 1969, very rare to find a perfect one. Notice there are two versions for 1969, one has a plastic connector that mounts to the firewall and the other version is metal.

This is a damaged but functional part. The plastic will be broken near the end thus exposing the cable.

Replaces Ford part #: C9ZZ-9A758-A.  This updated Throttle cable is decent quality. Thicker stranded cable, correct dimensions with a good fit. A basic replacement cable. Approximately 23" in length.
