We believe that the MPC is wrong on the length. Ford part #: C9ZZ-9A758-A. All V-8 engines. The plastic portion that is designed to cover the cable at its furthest point by the carburetor will be broken. This is how the vast majority are for 1969, very rare to find a perfect one. Notice there are two versions for 1969, one has a plastic connector that mounts to the firewall and the other version is metal.

This is a damaged but functional part. The plastic will be broken near the end thus exposing the cable.

Replaces Ford part #: C9ZZ-9A758-A.  This updated Throttle cable is decent quality. Thicker stranded cable, correct dimensions with a good fit. A basic replacement cable. Approximately 23" in length.

Cable length 22.83 inches long, identified by a plastic ball shaped end attached onto the pedal side of the cable. Must be used with a 1970 accelerator pedal shaft. This is an unbroken part. Notice there are two versions, one has plastic covering the cable and the other has an exposed cable.
