This mirror nut for the 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang is made from stainless steel, as compared to the other reproduction we offer which is made from die cast metal. A few benefits of the stainless steel nut is that the finish on it will not tarnish over time, and that it cannot be cross threaded.

Reproduction scissor jack for any year Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is a cheap Chinese jack that is clearly marked "For Display Use Only, Not for Lifting Vehicles". It resembles an original scissors jack, but there are several differences. It functions properly and will lift weight, but we wouldn't use it on any of our personal cars. Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors.
