This lid is about 17-1/2 inch in diameter. Identified by the wagon wheel like spokes in the stamping. 1967 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Additionally this lid was used for the Canadian export Cougars and Mustangs in 1968, they continued to use the open emissions system.

Chromed air cleaner lid for all 1973 H code 351-2V engines. About 14.75 inches in diameter. Ford part number for the air cleaner assembly is D3ZZ-9600-A. The air cleaner lid by itself doesn't have a number. This air cleaner lid was never chromed from the factory.

This ashtray differs from other ashtrays you will see on various Ford products in that it has a brushed finish and a slightly taller lower section. Used locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl.
