Exact reproduction fuel door lens for the 69 - 70 Mercury Cougar except for the fact that the repro does not have the part number and FoMoCo raised letters that are hidden by the upper chrome trim. Our economy version of this lens is a shade darker.

Well worth the money to replace the old cracked and faded one. The tinting of the lens matches the taillights perfectly and the item fits exactly like the old one did. I’m beyond impressed with most of the products I buy here, and this one adds to that list

Great item!

Had fit on my car, looks super nice! However due to dull tail lights colour did not match up as much as i would like, However no problems for that due to age and being in the sun for so long, i just hit the tail lights with plastx and gave them a good polish and they match great! Highly recommended if your fuel door plastic is faded or damaged in anyway.

I had purchase one of these in the past from unknownium. It faded miserably. How is the fade on the economy and premium part?

Autokrafters sold one years ago that had a fade problem, this unit does not have the fade issues.

Yes, the same fuel door lens was used on the base model and the XR7 models.
