Used aluminum "Mercury Man" head for the center grille medallion. These are just pressed and swedged into the die cast bezel and come out easily with a light tap from behind. Keep in mind these highly amplified pictures make the emblem look much worse than it really is. Do know that the one you get will have light road debris wear but no major scratches, pits or scrapes. Top bracket that attaches dash pad to driver side instrument cluster for all 1967-68 Mercury Cougars. Standard and XR7 models. Normally bare or zinc coated steel. This is a needed plate, it reinforces the top of the plastic of the instrument cluster and provides some strength when attaching the dash pad. Ford part number C7WY-10C899.

Keep in mind that if you have the original motor mounts in your 1967 with a 289 or 1969-1970 convertible these mounts will not work. Nobody sells motor mounts for them, period. This is contrary to what every auto parts store will tell you.
