Exterior Trim

Upper and lower fuel filler door trim pieces for 1969 and 1970 Mercury Cougars, all models except 1970 Eliminator which were black. To receive core credit back your cores must have only light pitting and no broken studs. Original Ford part number C9WY-65405-A for the lower and C9WY-65405A48-B for the upper.

These are BLEMISHED right and left hand set of 1/4 panel window mouldings. As you can see from the first two pictures above, these blems will have some minor bubbling or small dings in the chrome. These will be great for a daily driver if you're not worried about a few small imperfections. Some refer to these as "Hockey Sticks" or "J" moulding. Core stainless steel mouldings will have light scratches and minor dings. These are suitable for restoration or for a lower quality daily driver. We will not send you kinked or gouged trim as it is not feasible to restore heavily damaged trim.

If you happen to have a set of three NOS wheel lip mouldings and purchase the fourth as a restored piece from us it will visually fit right in. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. Unlike our un-restored used door glass trim and are sold in pairs only. If you are doing a concours correct restoration then these would not be for you as they have been "over restored" to a mirror like finish. The down fall of having such a mirror like finish is they get finger prints on them every time you touch them. The good part is they look HOT!
