This unit was used only one year on the Cougar and is unique because of its smaller fitting (1/4") for the pressure hose. Many 1967 Cougars have been converted to the 1968 valve over the years so you may want to double check your valve before ordering. We highly recommend upgrading to the large nut (5/16") control valve as the small nut control valve posses a potential safety issue, thus the reason why Ford replaced it the following year. This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.

Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. Good used center with minor cracking, missing paint or maybe even a broken mounting tab. This was used on all 1969 Cougars with a three spoke wheel except the XR7.

Good used center with no cracks and an average amount of fade most noticeable in the red portion of the emblem. Many of these emblems are broken or missing because people think this is the horn button and if they just push harder the horn will sound!

These were originally painted argent silver with the back ground painted semi-gloss black, they were not chromed. This emblem was used on all 1968 Cougar steering wheels with the exception of the XR7-G.

Excellent reproduction of the little 1 1/8" wide plastic emblem found on every 1970 - 1974 three spoke steering wheel pad. This emblem can also work on the 1969 - 1973 two spoke steering wheel pad but it is not an exact fit as the two spoke wheel emblem is only 1 1/32" wide. If you have already begun to install or have installed this item, it is not eligible for return or refund. This rim blow horn switch is made in the United States by Daniel Carpenter Mustang and is made from vinyl like original. When installing, make sure to massage the rim blow switch in place with counter clockwise, compacting strokes.
