Reproduction black oil cap for your 67 - 70 Cougar or Mustang, featuring the FoMoCo logo.

Brightens the engine compartment and looks sharp. Fits our big block finned aluminum valve covers (item# 26018) and others with the round push-in style opening. Requires a rubber grommet to fit into the valve cover, which is usually included with new valve covers.Does NOT fit valve covers with the "stovepipe" fitting (like our small block finned aluminum units) or factory valve covers the tabs for twist-on oil caps. This cap is for after market valve covers.

Correct detail. Chrome plated with rectangle-style FoMoCo script stamped into the top surface of cap. Nipple measures 5/8" diameter. This is the correct Closed Emissions oil cap for the finned "G" valve covers we sell.

This 49 state oil filler cap fits valve covers that utilize twist-on oil caps. This cap is a reproduction of the original cap that was found on 1967 models with the S code 390 and 289 engines with dress up kit like found on DGS 1967 Cougars..
