Spark Plug Wire Separator Brackets for the 1969 - 1970 Mustang Cougar or Torino with 428CJ Finned Aluminum Valve Covers, 1969 - 1970 Mustang Boss 302 with Finned Aluminum Valve Covers or Boss 351 models. These are an MCA approved unit made here in the USA. These replace Ford part number C9ZZ-6583-A and include both brackets and the 4 screws to properly install these units. Attaches spark plug wire holder to the factory finned aluminum valve covers

C7AZ-6582-A Ford engine blue painted valve cover with "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967-1969 Mercury Cougar with 390 engines. We are pretty sure that these painted valve covers were installed on non-GT cars without the engine dress up kits. Most 6.5 liter cars and the X code 390-2V would have had these painted valve covers. Smooth painted valve cover without "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967 Mercury Cougar and 1966-67 Ford Mustang with 289 engines. These will be dirty, and scratched. Reproduction pair of aluminum 428CJ valve covers. Correct on 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 428CJ engines. This is the plain finned aluminum valve cover. Sometimes called 1969 Shelby valve covers. Ford master part number C9ZZ-6582-B. Casting number can also be C9ZE-6583-B. *Note - Some 1969-70 428 Super Cobra Jet engines came with a different style of  "Snake" finned aluminum valve covers.

Finned aluminum Ford cast valve covers for any 1970-71 Ford or Mercury with 429CJ engine. Almost correct on 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with N or C code 429CJ engines. D0OE-6583-A is the part number cast on both. These both have the same opening for the oil filler cap on both sides. Technically, for 1971, the passenger side cover would have a round hole for the PCV grommet and have a D1OE-6583-CA casting number.

C6ZZ-6582-H Smooth chromed valve cover without "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967 DGS Mercury Cougar and optional on 1965-67 Ford Mustang with 289 engines. Ford master parts catalog shows a right and left version of this cover those numbers are C6ZZ-6582-H & C6ZZ-6582-J. *Note - This is a used chrome valve cover. The plating was pretty low quality back in 1966-67 and these will show rust pitting. For best results we recommend the painted version of this valve cover...

C8WY-6582-C  Cast aluminum running cat valve cover for 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7-G with X code 390-2V , S code 390-4V, or R code 428CJ engines. Original valve cover, FE running cat valve covers were not side specific. One cat will face forward and one will face backwards on your Cougar. Originally cast by Shelby American Inc #S7MS-6582.

C9ZE-6583-G Cast aluminum valve cover with. Correct on 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and Ford Mustang with Boss 302 engine. This is the finned aluminum valve cover. Ford master part number is C9ZZ-6582-C. *Note - Most, if not all 1969 Boss engines came with a chromed steel valve cover. Research did not turn a part number for that valve cover. Likely it is a chromed 351C valve cover. If you have the part number for the stamped steel chrome Boss 302 valve cover please share. ...
