This panel was used the full 1971 model year and early 1972 and is for use in cars with no rear seat seat belt re-tractors. It will not show serious UV damage with the "chalky look" and will have no extra holes drilled. These are very hard to obtain so we rarely have more than a couple on hand, please email us for colors on hand.

New old stock tilt / tilt away steering column lock relay for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Keep in mind we have a reproduction substitution for this part. Larger sized retainer that screws to upper front lip near the quarter glass on all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar hardtops and 1970 Ford Mustang coupes. Good grade "A" used nut with minimal scratches from removal process. The originals have deeper grooves and have a better luster on the chrome than the reproductions. This is a one year only design. Don't forget to check out our special tool used to remove and install this nut.

This mirror nut for the 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang is made from stainless steel, as compared to the other reproduction we offer which is made from die cast metal. A few benefits of the stainless steel nut is that the finish on it will not tarnish over time, and that it cannot be cross threaded.
