New clear plastic lens or face plate for the air conditioning control on all 1971-72, and early 1973 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are constructed with the bend on the top to refract the light for illumination. About October 1972, Ford changed the word FLOOR, to HEAT. The lens plates will physically interchange, you can use either one depending upon your preference.
*Tip for removal of your old lens. We have found it easiest to use a dremmel or other type of small cutoff wheel to carefully grind away the factory crimps. Use your safety glasses!
