Ford calls this part a 'mask'. This clamps to the chromed lever and holds the socket and bulb that are attached to the neutral safety switch, which are the shifter indicator light for the floor shifter. 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang door lock rod. This is the short rod that goes between the door key lock and the latch mechanism. Same part right or left, just under 6 inches in length, no threads on this rod. Ford part number C9ZZ-6522134-A.

Phillips flat head machine screw for attaching bucket seat, seat back release catch on any 1968-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang including bench seat cars. Original screws are trilobed, meaning that they have triangle shaped threads instead of perfectly round. Helps with locking. We recommend using locktite or some other thread sealer when installing. Or at least check the torque after several weeks of use. 5/16-18 flat head machine screw, zinc plated.

This is for your three or four speed manual transmission 1970 Cougar. The 70 is unique over the 69 in that it does not have a provision for your seat belt buckles. Absolute perfection in every detail, if all reproductions were this nice there would be no market for used parts. This unit has no alignment holes for the woodgrain bezel for those that prefer the cleaner look.
