The automatic seat back release option was added in early 1970 for Cougar and Mustang. The automatic seat back release would pull the release lever on both of the bucket seats. This only happens when the either the driver or passenger side door is opened. Each of these great kits include all three required cables, including part numbers, proper terminal and post clamp ends. Starter cables are properly shielded from heat. 1970-71 Mercury Cougar with 65-75 AMP alternators and V-8 engines. The originals were either 43-55 Amp (Standard) Draw or 65-75 Amp (High) Draw. This used grade "A" bezel for the driver side master switch was used in the latter part of 1970 through the 1972 model year. These do not "pry" off rather they are removed by slipping a small screw driver between the bezel and door panel and depressing the clip tab so as to release it from the master switch housing. Reproduction dual port vacuum advance for most all 1968-70 Ford V-8 engines. Very close replica of the factory installed vacuum advance.
